Dr. Gabor Toller started to work in the Department of Human Anatomy at the Medical School of Pécs as a Ph.D. student in 2000. He made investigations to analize the molecular genetics of endogenous biological clock using in vitro and in vivo experiments. He was invited to join the research group of Dr. Andrew V. Schally (Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, USA) in 2002. Dr. Toller investigated the effects of various polipeptides on normal and tumor tissues using a dynamic in vitro model system and in vitro experiments. In 2004 he returned in the Anatomy Department of University of Pécs and received his Ph.D. diploma in 2008. He started the residentalship in radiation oncology in 2007 and works from this year on at the Health Center of Kaposvár University. He made the state exam of radiation oncology in 2011. His special scientific and therapeutic interest inculdes the brachytherapy of prostatic, gynecological tumors and non-melanoma skin cancers.
He teaches gross anatomy, histology, embriolgy and neuroanatomy for medical students since 1997. He also teaches the students of english and german program as assistant lecturer from 2004.
