In our Inpatient Care Unit, built in 2016, we provide ward accommodation on 20 beds for our patients, if deemed necessary during treatment.
What you need to know about inpatient care
- Referral and admission procedures:
- Admission to the department is by referral Monday – Friday, 8.00-16.00 by appointment through the Oncology Department.
- The treatment management in the department is:
- The treatment management of patients in the department is carried out by the head of the department in collaboration with the patient’s treating physician.
- About the ward:
- Patients are accommodated in two beds room.
- All resident rooms have their own bathroom and toilet facility.
- The resident rooms have lockers for the storage of patients’ valuables, and equipped with TV.
- Also there is a TV in the lounge.
- Free parking is available around the institution.
- Free Wifi connection is available.
- Visitors, visiting arrangements:
- Visiting hours on the ward are 10:00-18:00 every day.
- Only two relatives may visit at a time
- In special cases, the visitor can visit their relative at any time with the agreement of the house doctor
- In case of any query please contact:
- In person with the head of the ward and the attending physician.
- The doctor on duty during office hours or by telephone on +36-82-502-051/6069.
- The staff of the department can only provide information on questions concerning the general condition of the patient, unless the patient has been told otherwise.
What to bring with you?
- For admission, please bring the following documents: your referral letter, ID card, address card, social security card if you have one, previous final reports, outpatient records, other test results, CT scan results.
- Please have a detailed record of the medications you take regularly!
- For inpatient admissions: nightgown, pyjamas, slippers, toiletries, if you wish, bring your own cutlery and glass.
